BMD Upgraded!

This year has brought some major changes for me both personally and business wise.

The biggest by far has been me learning to drive and getting a van! This has changed everything for me, and I am now settling into the new pace that I am able to operate at. I have fixed bikes alot further afield, and been able to help people in ways that I wasn’t able to before.

After buying the van, getting it painted was another very exciting moment! Dan at 1upDesign had already done my bike proud with it’s beautiful sign :

Jim at 79signs took this as a basis and hand painted it straight onto my little Fiat Doblo. I can’t thank you guys enough for the brilliant signage. This picture doesn’t really do it justice – you really have to see it in the flesh to appreciate the job Jim has done on it.

I am now looking forward to a much needed website upgrade also from 1UPdesign so literally watch this space!

I am trying to organise the business a little better, having been focussing on fixing bikes for the last 5 years I am now looking at my customer, stock and accounting systems with the expert help of my friend Ridhi.

All of this should free up a little more time to spend on my first love: music. again, I may post some more about that as time goes on..
